Why Choose MCA-LITE?
MCA-LITE is a professional quality research grade instrument, which is very different from cheap sound-card systems such as Theremino or Gamma Spectacular.
The cheap sound-card based systems are useful only for very low count rates (<1000 CPS).
The cheap sound-card based systems do not allow for good spectrum linearity; you may pin down 1-2 peaks but the other peaks will be displaced from their expected values due to non-linear response of the audio amplifier.
The cheap sound-card based systems produce distorted spectrum;
