    Description

    For sale is a demitasse cup and saucer by Noritake marked Occupied Japan in a bright ruby red color over white with a refined gold trim. The cup is simple, yet striking. The
    cup measures approximately 2 1/2" wide, 3 1/4" including handle, sits on a footed base 1 1/2" wide and stands 2 1/4" high.
    This piece is in very good condition having served as display item. The gold trim on the top rim and handle are in good condition . It is stamped on the reverse with the magenta Noritake Komaru logo and Made In Occupied Japan text indicating production between 1945 until the early 1950s.
