Rossetti Occupied Japan “Spring Violets” Covered Vegetable Bowl

Description

This is a beautiful one-owner piece purchased right after the end of WW2 and has had only one owner. It measures11” wide including the handles and 8” tall at the top of the handle. It was well taken care of and rarely used as it appears to be in almost perfect condition. The gold trim is still intact and there are no chips or cracks. I do know that it was purchased in Key West, Florida at a Naval base store or brought back from Japan by Naval sailors. Starting bid is roughly half of retail price.
