Rustic Primitive Italian Ceramic Vase Signed S. Rolla
A very striking ceramic vase done in shades of off-white, blue, turquoise, and grey-brown.
This Italian vase is very rough to the touch ....there are many small bubbles in various areas on the vase.  Some of them have popped through the years, others have not.
Each color except the grey-brown has both matte and shiny glazes which makes the appearance even more interesting.  There is also an incised design on all four sides of the vase.
Approx. 13 inches in height, it is 3 1/8 inch wide at the top and has a 4 3/8 inch square base.
This vase is pre-owned and shows signs of use and wear.  There are glaze pops throughout.  Also a small piece of missing glaze on the upper lip of the vase.
To me, these all add to the rustic, primitive feel of this vase.  You will have to decide for yourself!
