For several years the monthly Stephen King Newsletter was published by King's sister-in-law. It was an official publication and was the single best source of news on current and future Stephen King projects. Each issue was 11 x 17 tabloid newspaper format (but prinetd on good paper) and 8 to 12 pages long. Besides news it occasionally featured commentary by King, interviews with him and sometimes original fiction (usually serialized).

Yes, I know that August was #7 but September is #9. I expect it was a numbering error. They'd soon go to volume two and the numbers would just be hard to follow after that anyway and I'll just use the month and year identifications at that point.
