  • Condition: This item is in very good conditon, with no chips, cracks,hairline fractures, stains, spots, repairs, restoration noted. Has its original stopper on base, which fits securely and can be easily removed. Red clay item is hand-decorated with clay "spaghetti" decoration on head, nose, tail and feet, also is hand-painted. Slight spaghetti loss to top of Glaze is very glossy and crisp, (as seen in photos as white squares from glare of lights). Marked on bottom "2974, Italy" in script paint; designer and maker unknown, could not locate similar one on-line anywhere. Midcentury design and style. Measures: 9.25 " tall X 6.25" across, 5.5 " deep. Coin slot on back at neck. Item appears to have never been used, or if so, minimally. See photos for details.

    FEATURED:  A most charming, whimsical vintage Mid-Century Italian ceramic poodle dog bank, as only a creative Italian pottery could create, in rich green and wearing his best Flowered outfit.  Signed on the bottom with a design code number and "Italy", long floppy ears, a "spaghetti" fluffy pompom topknot, tail and paw trim make this adorable happy dog something really special and unique.  We don't know who made this cutest of Italian charmers, but we feel it was one of the best studios who knew about great style and quality of workmanship.  With his original stopper to keep those coins inside, this sweeet, obedient boy is ready to help you save for a vacation to - where else but Italy!
    Measures:  9.25 inches tall X 5.5 inches deep X 6.25 inches across.  Made in Italy of red clay base, handpainted and decorated. Marked "2974, Italy" in black paint script on bottom, has its original stopper.  Designer & maker unknown, as we could not find a similar one on-line at all.  From the Mid Century era of whimsical and great Italian pottery designs.  In terrific condition, ready to entertain you which his looks and help you save for something really special.
